Founder of ESPN and Author of "Sports Junkies Rejoice: The Birth of ESPN" who was at a book signing party at the Philadelphia law offices of Zarwin, Baum, DeVito, Kaplan, Schaer & Toddy, P.C; Photo taken 2/10/11 (That's former Philadelphia Eagles player Mike Quick on the far right)
  • Jerry Blavat, vanessa linck and Darlene Love Saturday night at the VIP party after the concert. It was the first official Wolfgang Puck catered party at the Kimmel.

  • Amanda Zirpoli, Anjdi Santiago, and Matt Laskowski. Anjdi plays the female character in the movie.
  • Francesca Gunning and Crystal Imn. Adorably dressed I think.
  • Paul Santoleri, Helena Espvall and Kim Alsbrook. Paul is a muralist, and was in a short film shown before "Love Letters" about a mural he did with two others called "Cosmic Terrarium". The screening provided popcorn and pop, yum. Privately owned, "Love Letters" will play again in February.
  • HAPPY 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO MY FRIENDS Steve and Sabrina Thorne. Saturday night they threw a little shindig at their house for a few close friends, and I was so honored to be included. Best of all it was a costume ball and a DJ.
  • After the party I ran over to one of my favorite club's whisper to check out the crowd. I ran into Dino Minelli who is now representing these hot NYC DJ's Kissette, who were spinning Saturday night at the club. Friday night Jason Statham was in the house. Saturday VH1's Steve Ward.
  • Halloween Night I went to the Henri David Ball for the 12th time, at the Sheraton Center City. It's always the place to see the most outrageous costumes, themes and truly tasteless. Last night was no different as I saw a Jack & Jackie Kennedy post assassination, the miner in the capsule, w/his women, and a film crew following him, various stages of nakedness, mammogram offerings, and winners of contests (there are 8 categories) former PHA director Carl Green with his girlfriend. a girl who made pumpkin pies but I'm not completely comfortable in telling you how.
  • The winners of the Most Horrifying category. I knew they would win something, they were awesome.
  • This guy did not win in his category of hyserical (losing out to the Pumpkin Pie lady pictured next to him, but they didn't know each other. What you can't see is she has a toilet with her), but I probably would have put him in the most Spectacular category. He's the Crane Game, and the crane worked and some people won.
  • Hipsters and the birds and the bees.
  • The contest starts: Category: Celebrity look alike. Lady Gaga and The Situation. Howard Stern, Hugh Hefner and Playmate (Anthony DiMeo). Not sure who that is on the right. The winner was Grace Jones. The judging is old school here, how many people know who she is?
  • Master of Ceremonies Henri David, Les Brown gives most Decadent prize to winner on right.
  • Cahsman Girls Susan Norcross, Christa Guidi and Ashley Schaeffer are on hand you know your party is going to be a success. Any drama, wrinkle, glitch that arrives will be solved and there's a good chance you won't even know it occurred.
  • Ground Zero Philadelphia young socialites: Dana Spain and Sabrina Tamburino-Thorne flanking Steve Thorne. The Thorne's just celebrated their first anniversary together this past weekend, and they are in love more than ever (I was there to help usher in the event with a few dozen of their close friends). Dana is busy, busy, busy with her charitable organization PAWS organization. Dana tells me that this past weekend's "4th Annual Mutt Strut" made over $100,000 after more than 1,000 people participated in the annual event.
  • Pete and Amy Fullem, Noel Bruno and Matt Noone, with Nigel Richards and Nicole Cashman. Nicole has been friends with these ladies since high school. Cashman & Associates have been handling the organization of the event for the three years I've been covering it.
  • Paul and Wendy Rosen with Alan Domb. If Wendy Rosen is the Mayor of Rittenhouse Square, no doubt Allan Domb is the king of condos, especially on Rittenhouse Square as he owns the Barclay and Parc Rittenhouse. (He once gave me a great deal at the Philadelphian on the 18th floor with an awesome view, but I couldn't get over my high anxiety, and Mike was threatening to tear up the parquet wooden floors. You should have seen Allan's face when he said that. We settled for a lower floor and carpet.)
