  • Judges include Kirsten Henri,Food Editor for Philadelphia Magazine, Felicia D’Ambrosio, Philadelphia Community and Marketing Manager of Yelp.com, last year’s Dish It Up winner, Top Cheftestant Jennifer Carroll, 10 Arts, and not-pictured Phyllis Stein-Novack, Restaurant Critic, South Philly Review.  Jen tells me 10 Arts will be throwing a party on December 1 for the debut of All Star Top Chef, which she is participating in. She plans to prepare some of her best dishes from her original season on the show for a tasting menu to be offered that evening.
  • Stefanie Fleischer Seldin and Rainy Papademetriou, are both Managing Attorney's for Philadelphia VIP, an organization that provides civil legal services for the poor, and Eleni Belisonzi
  • Marcie Turney, Lolita/Bindi/Barbuzzo wins the coveted "Purple Dish" award for her Roasted Beet-Goat Cheese Ravioli with orange zest, brown butter and for this competition, purple beets.   • 7pm Wednesday, September [29th] the Roxborough, Manayunk, Wissahickon Historical Society presents an “Evening of Vintage  Base Ball” – Players and Team Captains from Base Ball Clubs that haven’t set foot in Roxborough in 140-years will be sporting period dress, telling tales about the original clubs, explaining 1860s rules and glad-handing generally.
